Aokigahara Forest Tours is an affiliate of Viator and GetYourGuide, the platforms the trips here are sold through. When you book through a link on these pages, we may earn a commission from the platform, at no extra cost to you. You pay the same fare you would pay going direct.

That commission is what pays for researching and maintaining these pages.

What that does and does not change

Prices, ratings, review counts, durations and inclusions shown here are the operators' own figures, taken from each trip's booking listing on Viator or GetYourGuide. They are a snapshot captured on 20 August 2026: fares move, ratings move, and the operator sets both. Review counts are read from each listing's own star breakdown rather than from its summary line, because the two disagree.

Trips appear here because they reach Aokigahara Forest, not because of what they pay. Two of them only pass the forest rather than stopping in it, and they say so on their own cards. Critical traveller feedback is kept alongside the positive, and where two sources disagree we say so rather than pick the flattering one.

Bookings, payments and refunds

No booking is taken on this site and no payment is processed here. Every “Check availability” link hands you to Viator or GetYourGuide, which takes the payment, issues the confirmation and holds the cancellation terms.

Cancellation windows are shown per trip and are the operator's own. Refunds are handled by the booking platform.

Prices are indicative

Fares shown are “from” prices and were captured on 20 August 2026. Three of them are priced per group rather than per person and say so wherever they appear. They exclude the cave admissions, optional extras and anything a trip lists as not included. Cave fees are set by each cave and paid at its door.
